My connection to Mexico isn’t something I discovered, it’s something that has always been a part of my life, shaping some of the qualities I value most. My appreciation of tradition, the memories I hold with my primos at the beach, and being raised between English and Spanish, I carry a deep pride in my Mexican-American heritage.

I grew up between San Diego and Puerto Vallarta, shaped by a family that has spent generations building relationships, and creating legacies that last. My late great-grandfather, Pancho (a well-known panadero in Puerto Vallarta) is part of that story.
