My connection to Mexico isn’t something I discovered, it’s something that has always been a part of my life, shaping some of the qualities I value most. My appreciation of tradition, the memories I hold with my primos at the beach, and being raised between English and Spanish, I carry a deep pride in my Mexican-American heritage.
I grew up between San Diego and Puerto Vallarta, shaped by a family that has spent generations building relationships, and creating legacies that last. My late great-grandfather, Pancho (a well-known panadero in Puerto Vallarta) is part of that story.
The experiences we share through Insider Getaway are not chosen from being the latest trend, but because they’ve been a part of our lives. Places shaped by family and time.

Insider Getaway offers two types of stays for those who want to experience Mexico beyond tourism.
Each getaway is shaped by local relationships, which creates access to experiences that feel grounded, immersive, and always personal.
Every detail is designed with the intention of supporting the people that make this place what it is.

What services do you offer?
We offer two ways to experience Insider Getaway.
Hosted Gatherings
Intimate group getaways held during the high season in Punta Mita (October through March). Each stay is designed around a distinct experience. From yoga and wellness retreats, to surf, adventure, and solo traveler groups.
Dates are released in limited drops. Join our Insider waitlist for early access to upcoming group getaways.
Private Stays
We also curate fully customized getaways for private groups, including accommodations at Casa Ola Mita, a private villa located steps from the beach in Punta Mita, Nayarit.
Ideal for friends, families, and special gatherings of up to 8 guests.

All stays include accommodations at Casa Ola Mita, a selection of activities, and thoughtfully planned meals. Ground and boat transportation throughout your getaway is covered.

Where are you located?
We are based in Punta Mita, Nayarit, within the Bahía de Banderas region on Mexico’s Pacific coast.
